Know your authentic self;
elevate performance.
You cannot outrun who you really are. The CORE Map is a mirror that shows you your true wiring, where you leak energy trying to be someone else, and how to engage your fully empowered, authentic self when it counts most.
CORE Map Awareness Profile
The CORE Map is a personality and awareness profile developed to show people, in plain language, how they are naturally wired. It separates who you actually are from the version of yourself you have learned to perform for coaches, parents, teachers, and teammates.
For an athlete, that distinction matters. Under pressure, the learned version cracks first. The CORE Map shows the athlete what their true core is, where they are leaking energy trying to be someone they are not, and how to engage their fully empowered, authentic self when the moment gets big.
I have been using the CORE Map for years with athletes at every level, from middle school kids working through identity questions to Olympians and professional draft prospects. It is the fastest path to real self-awareness I have found, and it gives me a clear picture of the athlete in front of me on day one instead of session ten.
Parents and coaches can take it too. When everyone in the system understands their own wiring and each other's, the conversations get cleaner, the conflicts get smaller, and the athlete has a lot more room to grow.

How it works
- 01
Intake and assessment
You complete the CORE Map online assessment. It takes about 30 minutes and there are no right or wrong answers.
- 02
Profile generation
Your full CORE Map profile is generated and reviewed before our session so the debrief is focused on what matters for you.
- 03
One-on-one debrief
We meet for 60 to 90 minutes and walk through the profile in plain language, with examples from your sport, school, and family life.
- 04
Application plan
You leave with a short, specific plan for how to use the insight day to day, and we can layer it into ongoing mental performance work if that is the right next step.
Outcomes
- Clear language for who you are and how you operate
- Awareness of where you have been performing instead of being
- A practical way to recover energy and stay yourself under pressure
- Better communication with coaches, teammates, and family
- A foundation that makes every other piece of mental performance work hit harder
Who it's for
Athletes who want real self-awareness, parents trying to understand their athlete more clearly, coaches who want better insight into their team, and families who want a shared language for how each person is wired.
Frequently asked
What is the CORE Map exactly?
It is a personality and awareness profile that separates your natural core from the version of yourself you have learned to perform. You can read more about the underlying work at coremap.com.
How is this different from other personality tests?
Most assessments tell you what type you are. The CORE Map tells you what your true core is and where you are spending energy trying to be something else. For athletes under pressure, that second piece is the whole game.
Can my whole family or team take it?
Yes. Family mapping and team mapping are some of the most powerful ways to use it. We can scope that on the intake call.
How do I get started, and what does it cost?
Email me directly through the contact form to set up an evaluation. The CORE Map profile and debrief carry a fee, which I will walk you through on that first contact. From there we schedule the assessment and the one-on-one debrief.
Do I have to commit to ongoing coaching?
No. The CORE Map and debrief stand on their own. Many athletes use it as a one-time insight tool. Others use it as the front door to longer mental performance work.
